If you've ever wondered what it look like to be a level above a whole foods metropolitan market is the answer to that question. This place is as fancy as fancy can get and I absolutely love splurging here for a special occasion. The service is always top notch and it's clean and really nice although the area around here can get a bit dicey. There's a huge parking lot and even a little eating area of you purchase any hot food or salads. But if nobody mentions anything else, the one thing you absolutely have to try here is the cookie. Both their chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies are absolutely out of this world and I've been disappointed more than once when they go out of stock by the time I get there. There is a grocery outlet as well as a Safeway super close by to here if you are looking for more affordable grocery options

They have an impressive sushi selection at this location! I have found Met Market's sushi to be one of the better grocery stores to offer it at a reasonable pricepoint. I was disappointed that there is not a self serve salad bar at this location. However, they do have a made to order salad and wrap bar. Instead, I opted to get some greens from the deli section. They have ample seating at this location - there is a quieter seating area by the coffee and bakery and the main seating area is at the front of the store.

This is the closest "whole foods" market around. Pretty pricey but a gorgeous produce, meat and bakery sections. Something about walking in and smelling that huge monster of a cookie slapping you in the face! Yummmmm

Listen, the deli and bakery and likely the whole store features a lot of really good food. The problem is the pricing. You're gonna pay about 10% more for everything. Now, is it worth it? Are the soups and other specialty items out of this world? Indeed they are. Just got to cough up extra bucks.

I recently moved up to N. Seattle and this Met Market is the closest to my house. I've only gone twice but I absolutely love coming here! I've been to 2 other Met Markets in Seattle but this by far is my favorite. Lots of prepared food options, never a long wait to check out, and the cleanliness and overall modern feel just make this a lovely grocery store. Very glad I'm only a quick 8 minute drive away!

First visit was on 9/3/23 - very brief. Fresh pasta and cookies. Second visit was 10/29/23 - finally able to wander each aisle leisurely. Really enjoyed the culinary gear and housewares section. Rishi teas, cheeses, and a cookie. Nice grocery store. A bit spendy. One can get an Italian moka pot, but not a brick of Velveeta to make game day queso, lol. I'll stick with the Town & Country Market, Safeway, and the Fil-Am shop in Shoreline. Worthy detour though if you want a guaranteed fresh baked Metropolitan Market signature Cookie.
